Nikon D7000 Review
I’ve just finished reading Thom Hogan’s D7000 review. If you’re in the market for Nikon bodies, read it. Very thoughtful. http://www.bythom.com/nikond7000review.htm

You tack your loose print to a piece of foam core and you expect me to care about it? Why? You don't.

Great looking CD’s and DVD’s for clients
I love the ability to print directly to a CD or DVD from my consumer grade Epson printer. It makes very professional looking media for clients. Unfortunately, printers that do this are disappearing.

Fixing ColorMunki
Got a X-Rite Color Munki? Windows 7 or Vista? Get all the way to the end where you save the file only to have it tell you it failed to measure correctly? It’s lying. It measured just fine. I just can’t write the color profile because User Account Control (a Windows security thing) prevents programs from altering system files, like color profiles. The program should trigger an “elevation” prompt asking for your permission to alter the file. It doesn’t.
The solution to this is to run the program as an administrator.
- Right-click on the ColorMunki shortcut.
- Choose the shortcut tab.
- Click the Advanced button.
- Check the box to run as administrator.
- Close the dialogs. Windows will prompt you for permission. If you are not an administrator, you’ll have to have an administrator enter credentials to save the changes to the shortcut.
